Indian Navy is conducting a Health Camp for general public

NavyWeek2018 As part of Navy Week 2018 activities the Indian Navy is conducting a Health Camp for general public from 01 to 03 December 2018 at Government Senior Secondary School, Amarpur, Haryana. The camp is being organized as part of outreach programmed to make the citizens aware of Indian Navy’s role and also to encourage youth to join the Navy. The camp was inaugurated by Additional DGMS (Navy) on 01 December 2018 in presence of Shri Mani Ram Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Palwal. The Health Camp endeavors to address basic health issues and provide medical checkup. A Medical Team comprising 13 Specialist medical officers in various fields of Medicine and 24 Para-medical staff from INHS Asvini will conduct out-patient consultation for medical, surgical, gynecology, pediatric, eye, ENT and skin ailments. The Camp will also have a dental chair and is being supported by appropriate diagnostic and pharmacy facilities. In addition to medical examination, the team will also conduct health awareness activities for general population through an exhibition. The special feature of the Camp was establishment of mobile laboratory with facilities to carry out blood investigations at Primary Health Centre, Amarpur on 29 and 30 November 2018.
